Questions

1. The original image was 8.64 inches by 12.96 inches.
2. The new photo will be 8.64 inches by 17 inches. This photo has a space of 8.64 inches by 4.04 inces added on to the left side of the image
3. The "blue line" is a guide.
4. To duplicate the background layer click and drag it to the new layer button that is to the left of the trash icon. To delete it drag the duplicate layer into the trash.
5. To make a new folder, click the new folder butto between the adjustments and new layer icons.
6. The background layer is outside of the folder. To move the background to the folder you have to duplicate the background and then drag the copy into the folder then lock the duplicate and delete the original background. You have to make a duplicate layer of the background because the background can't be moved or unlocked when it is the only layer.

1) The Gradient tool is the box that fades from black to white while the pen tool has a picture of the point of a fountain pen. The shape tool is below the text tool and can have either a square or other custom polygons on it.
2)With these settings applied the gradient tool would make a gradient from bottom to top, the top being white.
3)To change the gradient transition-click the button second to the left under the photoshop button, this will open a menu where you can choose what transition you would like to use.
4)With these setting you would make vector art you know this because the paths layer is not selected.
5)This is not a closed path because there are still anchor that are unconnected.
6)Select rectangle from the shapes menu and the this rectangle would be black.
7)To change to circle click and hold on the rectangle button until the menu pops up then you will be able to select circle.
8)300 dpi is the right setting for computer screen resolution.
9)dpi stands for dots per inch
10) The images would print the same size the only difference is that one is zoomed in farther on the screen than the other.
Bonus- ppi stands for pixels per inch.

1) this is the new ego 10 (paintball gun). This ad is showing all of the different colors that it is being offered in.
2)The text that I choose to examine is the writing on the top of the page. The serif appears to be pointed. The weight is normal. The contrast is high. The stress seems to be right-angled.
3)I think that the text was good for this ad because I believe that the ad is trying to show that this gun is the best or royal and that was the idea I got when I saw that text. Also the text is different from the fonts of the rest of the ad so the viewers eye is drawn to it.

2)The stress of the text is vertical. The Contrast is medium.The weight is bold. The posture is oblique.
3) This ad is very to the point because it only has one piece of writing. I believe that this is effective because the viewer is not distracted by other things and reads only the company's website.
